premium ball screws and pre-loaded ball nuts for practically zero backlash. This kit has become the standard of quality for the (S) X3 CNC conversion:

CUSTOMIZING YOUR KIT:
Michael will drill and tap the end of the Y screw for 3/4" 516 18 screw and washer if you ask him to. This will prevent the screw from driving out of the nut and scattering ball bearings everywhere. If you buy the deluxe kit, and want to use my methods to
increase axis travel, Michael has agreed to make your ball screws the extra length needed at no charge.
