Still rated a minilathe because of 3/4" spindle bore, these lathes are fairly competent after some modifications. They lack supplied accessories. By the time you buy the extras, price is right up with the 10x22, without the increased rigidity, 1 inch bore and 1 HP motor of the larger/heavier 10x22.
